United States - Pellegrino Artusi at the Miami Book Fair

On the occasion of the 3rd Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World, presentation of the renowned manual “Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well”

The cookery book par excellence, the one at the very heart of modern Italian cuisine, is the famous ‘practical manual for families’ by Pellegrino Artusi La scienza in Cucina e l’Arte di mangiare bene.
After the fifteen editions compiled and revised directly by the author from 1891 to 1911, the book has been re-edited, copied, plagiarized right up to the present day.
To date, it has been translated into ten languages: English, Spanish, Catalan, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, French, Polish, Japanese.

On the occasion of the 3rd Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World, the English edition Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well and the Spanish one, La Ciencia en la Cocina y el Arte de Comer bien have been presented at the Miami Book Fair from 16 th to 18 th November, in the “Italy” stand curated by the Consulate Generale of Italy in Miami.

Once again, Pellegrino Artusi is the ambassador of Italian cuisine in the world.
