France – Homage to Fellini by Dolce Cinema

Until October 1st in Grenoble, the Association proposes two exhibits by Emilia-Romagna Region and the screening of Fellini's first film

Dolce Cinema – the association organizing the festival Les Rencontres du cinéma italien à Grenoble et en Isère for 14 years, pays homage to Fellini on the 100th anniversary of his birth with two of the exhibitions promoted by Emilia-Romagna Region and Centro Cinema Città di Cesena which are part of the official calendar of the Celebrations – Fellini 100.

They are, in particular: Federico Fellini’s 8 ½ in the unpublished photographs by Paul Ronald and Fellini between table and kitchen, remembering Artusi.
Both of them are curated by Antonio Maraldi, responsible for the Centro Cinema Cesena, who has been co-operating with Les Rencontres du cinéma italien and Dolce Cinema Association for years, conceiving theme exhibitions connected to the programme of the festival.

The exhibition 8 ½ à travers une sélection de photographies inédites de Paul Ronald presents the images by the official still photographer of the film, showing the various protagonists, the intimate or funny moments, the work and the atmosphere on the set.

The exhibition À table avec Fellini, en se souvenant d'Artusi presents images of films by the Maestro with culinary and convivial scenes, so joining in the pair ‘cinema and food’ the double anniversaries in the year 2020 of two distinguished persons from Romagna: the centenary of Federico Fellini’s birth and the bicentenary of Pellegrino Artusi’s birth. 1st

The exhibits are set at the Maison de l'international - Jardin de Ville Grenoble until October 1st

Dolce Cinema celebrates the unforgettable filmmaker also with the screening of Fellini’s first solo-directed feature film, The White Sheik (on September 29th), in collaboration with the Ciné-Club de Grenoble.
