Spain – "The Third Reich" by Romeo Castellucci
Premiere in Madrid of The Third Reich by Romeo Castellucci, the video-installation in which all the nouns contained in the dictionary are projected in a sequence onto a giant screen at dizzying speed, stunning the spectator.
The work wants to convey the image of an imposed, obligatory communication and to remind us how even language can transform into the most violent instrument of totalitarianism.
The show is guest of Réplika Teatro - Centro Internacional de Creación in Madrid, and will be on stage on April 12, 13 and 14 (nine performances, different times).
On the occasion, Réplika Teatro has organized an online meeting with Romeo Castellucci on April 10 (at 1:00 p.m.).
The meeting, open to the public and the press, features Antonia Blau, director of the Goethe-Institut in Madrid, and Mikolaj Bielski, artistic director of Réplika Teatro. Romeo Castellucci attends via video and the public will be allowed to ask questions.
The meeting will also be broadcasted live on the Réplika Teatro YouTube channel.
