Slovakia – The exhibit on Fellini’s “8 ½” set also in Košice
The exhibit Federico Fellini’s "8 ½" in the unpublished photographs by Paul Ronald has been proposed by the Italian Cultural Institute of Bratislava in a new and original ‘open air’ setting in 50 citylights in the streets of the city centre.
The exhibition – a homage of the Dolce Vitaj Festival to the magnificent director in the year of the centenary of his birth, has aroused great interest and liking, so much to be not only extended in Bratislava until June 22nd but also to be set in Košice, still until June 22nd and here too with large-format images in 30 citylights in the streets of the city.
The exhibit, realized by Centro Cinema Città di Cesena and the office for Cultural Activities Abroad of Emilia-Romagna Region, is curated by Antonio Maraldi, responsible for the Centro Cinema Cesena, and is part of the official programme of the Italian National Committee for the Celebration of the Centenary of Fellini's birth - ‘Fellini 100’.
The tribute to Fellini by Dolce Vitaj Festival will go on in July with Cinevitaj: Fellini 100, a series of films organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Bratislava in co-operation with Kino Lumiére.
