France – “Me and Nothing” by Teatro Gioco Vita
Me and Nothing is the story of a little girl who, after losing her mother and being left with her grief-stricken father, creates an imaginary friend.
It is a very deep and moving tale with an important message told through a wise and poetic language: weakness and fragility can be transformed into strength and something precious can even come from absence and longing.
Teatro Gioco Vita’s personal theatrical language is still present in this production. The fusion of shadows and actors gently involves the young audience to the discovery of the young character’s story.
The show is staged at the “RDV J-365 - Festival Mondial des Theatres de Marionnettes”; two performances are schedule in Nouzonville on September 24th, three performances are scheduled in Ay on the 25th and the 26th September.
