Russia – "La Stravaganza" di Soqquadro Italiano

On February 3, in Moscow, the ensamble performs a musical journey with Vivaldi

Soqquadro Italiano is back in Russia. On February 3rd, the Bologna-based musical group who "seizes on all artistic languages” performs at the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow with a project dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi: La Stravaganza - Soqquadro Italiano featuring the Orchestra.

The program by Claudio Borgianni and Vincenzo Capezzuto presents a completely new, unexpected, bizarre (‘stravagante’, in Italian) Vivaldi through an intersection of "ancient" and "modern", between early music instruments and music instruments of our time.

The ensemble dialogues with the chamber orchestra in a refined game of fusion, and the musical journey through the works by the great composer is accompanied by video projections of images of Italian cities ‘rich in fine arts’ (Mantua, Venice, Ferrara, Naples, Bologna, and many others), landscapes of a sort of Grand Tour not only musical.
