La Baracca-Teatro Testoni Ragazzi in Luxembourg and Spain
La Baracca-Teatro Testoni Ragazzi theatre company is on tour in Luxembourg from October 11 to 26 with the show Tangram, a long tour that will include the cities of Ettelbruck, Niederanven, and Luxembourg.
The show is presented in the 2022-2023 season of important and prestigious venues, with about thirty performances for both the general public and school groups.
Author and director of Tangram is Andrea Buzzetti, who undertook a research path on the composition and decomposition of the image starting from the famous Chinese puzzle – a perfect square composed of seven flat shapes, elements from which it is possible to create countless shapes. On stage, three characters tell about a journey, at the same time constructing it. The result is a show that teaches the little ones the importance of trust and mutual help.
Tangram is staged at the CAPE - Centre Des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck, with seven performances from October 11 to 13, at the Kulturhaus Niederanven with nine performances from October 14 to 18, and ends the tour at Les Rotondes in Luxemboug, with thirteen performances from October 20 to 26.
While the Luxembourgish tour is underway, the show Upside down is staged in Spain from October 14 to 16, in the season organized by the Teatre Escalante - Centre d’Arts Escèniques in Valencia.
Here, too, a fun and captivating journey is told, full of discoveries and surprises, in a world made of sheets of paper and without words. Two characters who do not know each other, live on different floors, move on opposite sides, and observe things from two different points of view will find common ground in an upturned place, looking for a mutual friend. The direction is still by Andrea Buzzetti, who curated the script together with Enrico Montalbani and Carlotta Zini, and who, with the latter, is also on stage.
