"CameraMusic" – streaming from the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia
Chamber music is the subject and the central character of "CameraMusic", a new project by the Fondazione i Teatri di Reggio Emilia: five small concerts of great music in film version, released from March 19 to April 16.
The Foundation produced a series of short films shot in the most charming spaces of the Teatro Valli, each one curated by different video makers.
Each concert is dedicated to a single composer and performed by some among the best Italian interpreters of music ranging from baroque to modernity.
The five composers are: Ludwig van Beethoven, François Couperin, Maurice Ravel, Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy. The five performers: Ensemble Zefiro, Francesco Corti, Trio di Parma, Francesco Dillon, Ensemble Icarus.
The eye of the cameras by directors Jeris Fochi, Piergiorgio Casotti, Rotpunkt, Valeria Civardi, and Matteo Bigi and Luca Morettiwill take us in the music performance and into the fashinating historic places of the majestic Teatro Municipale Romolo Valli, built between 1852 and 1857 and restored without changes in its original structure.
The concerts are free available every Friday from March 19 to April 16, at 08:30 p.m., on the Theatre web site and Facebook and YouTube social channels.
