A journey through time with the MEIS of Ferrara
The MEIS National Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah in Ferrara goes on in spreading the knowledge of Italian Hebraism, of its history and its culture.
The last exhibition realized, Jewish Ferrara, dedicated to one of the more relevant and oldest Jewish community, is now available online.
It is possible to watch deepening videos and interviews, listen to traditional music, discover precious artifacts.
With this exhibition, the MEIS wanted to go back to its origins and explain to visitors, the city and the general public why the museum was built in Ferrara.
The path accompanies the visitor on a journey through time, capturing the peculiar identity and the main stages of the ancient and still vital Ferrara Jewish community.
