India – Instabili Vaganti theatre company at the Bharat Rang Mahotsav Festival
The Bharat Rang Mahotsav, organized by the National School of Drama of New Delhi, is the largest theatre festival of Asia.
Twenty-one days of performances and other side-events in New Delhi, Dibrugarh, Varanasi, Ranchi, Mysore, and Rajkot, with the most creative Indian theatre companies and international artist from Bangladesh, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, the Czech Republic, Italy, Nepal, Romania, and Singapore.
Instabili Vaganti theatre company presents DESAPARECIDOS#43, a performance aiming at giving voice to the dramatic event of the 43 Mexican students disappeared in Ayotzinapa on 26th September, 2014.
It is a theatrical action aiming at underlining the tragic reality of forced disappearances still afflicting many Countries, and is the result of the research and work experience Instabili Vaganti did in Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina and of the testimonies and stories of students and artists involved.
DESAPARECIDOS#43, which receives Amnesty International’s patronage, is a work exalting freedom of opinion, expression and demonstration which are threatened worldwide.
The Festival programme schedules DESAPARECIDOS#43 in New Delhi (February 11) and in Mysore (February13).
Then Instabili Vaganti's tour in India, that is supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region Culture Dept and the Italian Cultural Institutes of New Delhi and Mumbay, goes on in Pune, where Anna Dora Dorno and Nicola Pianzola will hold two workshops on the physical and vocal training of the performer -The Organic Body (at THESPO on February 18, at the Lalit Kala Kendra of the University of Pune on February 19 and 20).
