Teatro delle Ariette on tour in Spain
Teatro delle Ariette is on tour in Spain with the show Theatre to eat?, historic production by the theatre company in which three cooks-actors-craftsmen become narrators of a mental journey of ten or more years of their (and our) lives.
The performance is on stage in La Jonquera on November 23 (Sala Societat Unió Jonquerenca, 8:30 pm) and will be in Olot on November 25 (Teatre Principal d'Olot, 1 pm and 10 pm), guest of the 9th "El Petit Format - Festival de teatre d'Olot".
The festival is organized by Una Càpsula de Teatre theatre company with the support of Olot Cultura - Ajuntament d'Olot and Diputació de Girona and presents “an eclectic selection of small-format theatre performances which try to generate a bond of proximity between the spectator and the artist”.
This is just what happens in the performance Theatre to eat?, in which Teatro delle Ariette invites spectators to a real lunch, ‘seasoned’ with acting.
As the authors explain, «around the big table where we find ourselves, actors and audience, to share the time for lunch or dinner, something happens that we cannot explain. Such a deeply human rite that is able to bring us all in the heart of our present, in the very moment of the 'here and now', without mediation, in the evidence of truth of our lives».
