Israel – Andrea Griminelli in concert with I Virtuosi Italiani
His very sensitive interpretations and his surprising technique have consolidated Andrea Griminelli's career and earned him worldwide fame and recognition, from the Grammy to the Prix de Paris to honours.
The famous flautist is the protagonist of the concert Grandi compositori italiani dall’Ottocento ai giorni nostri (Great Italian composers from the nineteenth century to the present day), that will be held on December 9 at the Tel Aviv Conservatory.
Maestro Griminelli will be accompanied by the violins, viola, cello, and double bass of the I Virtuosi Italiani quintet. The musical programme includes pieces by Luigi Boccherini, Gioachino Rossini, Saverio Mercadante, Giovanni Sollima.
The event is the "End-of-Year Concert" organized by the Embassy of Italy in Israel and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, made in co-operation with The Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv.
