Teatro Necessario at the Zirkus Theater Festival in Dresda

The contemporary circus production centre presents three shows, on stage from June 8 to 11

Music, acrobatics, juggling, clowning and captivating gags. Teatro Necessario Circo, the contemporary circus production centre based in Colorno (Parma), stages three of its irresistible performances at the Zirkus Theater Festival in Dresden.

The second edition of the festival organized by Societaetstheater Dresden opened on June 1st and will run to June 11 with a rich programme that presents the contemporary circus in all its aspects and hosts thirteen different shows by companies and artists from five countries.

Teatro Necessario historic company – that is Leonardo Adorni, Jacopo Maria Bianchini and Alessandro Mori – is on stage with Nuova Barberia Carloni and Clown in libertà, two extremely captivating shows that have been entertaining audiences of all ages and latitudes for years.

The third show on stage at the Festival, Paccottiglia deluxe, is instead the result of Teatro Necessario Circo production centre’s activities in support of the artistic work by other companies: in fact, it was co-produced with Circo Pacco, a theatre group that presents itself as “a circus without a tent”. It is a parody of the circus world starring two “authentic rogues” who, in an attempt to set up their show, try by all means to take centre stage and earn the public acclaim.

Here's the schedule: June 8-9 Paccottiglia deluxe; June 10-11 Nuova Barberia Carloni; June 11 Clown in libertà.

The tour is supported by Emilia-Romagna Region and ATER Fondazione.
