Teatro Due Mondi on tour in Germany and at the FETA festival in Poland

Many European stages for the shows "Rossini Flambé", "Fiesta", "Wall Cracks". June 29-July 9

«Still with the flood in our eyes and the mud in our hands, we resume our tour in Italy and abroad to fill up on beauty and rediscover those sensations that had to leave room for urgency».
This is how director and theatre director of Teatro Due Mondi Alberto Grilli introduces the resumption of the tour, that started on June 10 and 11 in France, in Bergerac, twin town of Faenza, where the group was born and has always carried out its artistic activity in close dialogue with the social and civil milieu.

Teatro Due Mondi presented Rossini Flambé, a funny piece for young and old that tells of Italy and its flavours and sounds, in which songs, lyrics and comic situations mix themes ranging from ingredients for cooking to love, from wine to the pleasures of life.

In Bergerac, the show was presented in French language for the first time, and it will be staged in German in the following stages in various cities in Germany: Unna (June 29), Ahlen (June 30), Niedergörsdorf (July 2), Oranienburg (July 5).

This part of the tour has the Kultursekretariat NRW Gütersloh as a major supporter – important regional body which, with its network of cities and in close cooperation with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, promotes and supports cultural projects in various artistic fields, including street theatre, with a programming that pays particular attention also to the international production.
Emilia-Romagna Region, ATER Fondazione and the Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne have also given their contribution for the German stages.

Teatro Due Mondi’s tour will continue in Poland, where the company is guest of the 25th edition of the FETA - International Street & Open-Air Theatre Festival in Gdansk and will have the honour of opening it with their historic street show Fiesta (July 7).

And after having transformed the streets into a festival of Mediterranean flair, Teatro Due Mondi will be again on stage with another cornerstone of its repertoire, a result of the multi-year paths activated in the artistic and socio-cultural field: the inclusive theatre project Wall Cracks (July 8 and 9).

Teatro Due Mondi’s European tour in summer 2023 will continue in Norway and Italy, to return to Germany in August.
