La Baracca - Teatro Testoni Ragazzi on tour in Luxembourg
Since few days, La Baracca-Teatro Testoni Ragazzi theatre company is on tour in Luxembourg, a long tour started on November 10 in Niederanven, that will continue in Luxembourg City, to end in Ettelbruck on November 27.
The company presents the show Frames, and thanks to the consolidated co-operation with the host theatres – Kulturhaus Niederanven, Rotondes, and CAPE - Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck –, about thirty performances are scheduled, for both general audience and school groups.
Frames talks about memories which turn into questions – like the ones children ask grown-ups. It is a show made of very few words, with a special focus on the movements, the feelings, and the expression of the two actresses telling this story.
This production was born within MAPPING - A Map on the Aesthetics of Performing Arts for Early Years, a larger scale cooperation project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme, an artistic research project focused on creating a sensory-based relationship with very young children through performing arts.
Frames has been staged in Niederanven on November 10-14, is on stage in Luxembourg City from 16 to 22, and lastly in Ettelbruck from November 23 to 27.
