Aterballetto on tour in Europe with "Double Side"

The show co-produced by Fondazione Nazionale della Danza and Fondazione Toscanini on stage in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Germany. March 14–April 2

After the tours in France and Spain in January and February, Aterballetto has started a new tour in Europe with the show Double Side, a new co-production by Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto and Fondazione Arturo Toscanini in Parma born with the aim of "making choreographic and musical components react" in a new and meaningful way.

Double Side is a double bill that stages two opposite poles: Stabat Mater by Cuban choreographer Norge Cedeño Raffo, creation for 3 dancers, 3 musicians, and 3 singers, and With drooping wings by Canadian choreographer Danièle Desnoyers, creation for 8 dancers and 4 strings. All is held together by the lively aesthetic architecture designed by Fabiana Piccioli and the live music by Quartetto Motus for La Toscanini performing the soundtrack by Arvo Pärt and Henry Purcell.

The tour of the show stars in Switzerland. After Zug, where it was staged at the Kulturhaus Theater Casino on March 14, it will be guest of the Stadttheater in Schaffhausen on March 16.

The tour will continue in Luxembourg, in Esch-sur-Alzette (March 19) and in Germany, in Aschaffenburg (March 22), to return to Switzerland, in Baden (March 25) and again in Germany, in Gütersloh (March 29 and 30 March) and Lörrach (April 2).
