Israel – Accademia Bizantina at the Eilat Chamber Music Festival

On February 11 and 12, double appointment with Vivaldi and the 18th century repertoire

Accademia Bizantina is guest of the Eilat Chamber Music Festival, taking place in the famous Israel’s tourist resort from February 9 to 12.

The Festival, directed by Leonid Rozenberg, presents renowned classical music artists from Europe alongside other established world-famous artists. This 14th edition is hosting two orchestras, famous soloists, programs of classical and Baroque music, jazz, music for various instruments, vocal music.

On February 11, the programme proposes Vivaldi!: Accademia Bizantina performs the best repertoire of concertos for orchestra Vivaldi ever wrote, including some from 'L’Estro Armonico'.
The protagonist par excellence will not be missing: the viola d'amore, played by concertmaster Alessandro Tampieri, who will conduct the orchestra.

On February 12, the Eilat Chamber Music Festival entrusts to Accademia Bizantina and contralto Delphine Galou a festive and ‘sparkling’ closing event: Agitata.
The concert program focuses on the finest virtuosic arias of the 18th century by Vivaldi, Jommelli, and Porpora, as well as virtuosic concertos performed by soloists of the orchestra.
