Aterballetto on tour in France with "Dreamers #1"

The triple bill with choreographies by Johan Inger, Philippe Kratz, and Ohad Naharin in Thonon-les-Bains and Meudon on March 23 and 29

Aterballetto is back to France with Dreamers #1, a triple bill composed of Secus by Ohad Naharin, “O” by Philippe Kratz, and BLISS by Johan Inger.

The French tour of the performance re-starts on March 22 in Thonon-les-Bains, at the Maison des Arts du Léman, and will go on in Meudon, at the Centre d’art et de Culture, on March 29.

Dreamers #1 is a ‘triptych’ full of contrasts, which explores the three choreographers’ very different worlds.

In Secus, Ohad Naharin goes into all the richness of the human body, in a daring and offbeat choreography. On the cadences of a wildly eclectic musical collage, joy, fear, innocence, and anger weave a harmonious and dynamic tissue.

In “O”, two human beings, or two robots, celebrate their state of transcendence and emotional fulfilment in a flight towards infinity. Philippe Kratz questions a future where the abstraction of bodies and beings seems inevitable.

On sublime music by Keith Jarrett, in BLISS Johan Inger launches the sixteen dancers in an ode to joy and dance. An opening on the rare beauty of the world. In spite of everything.
