"Visioni di futuro" by La Baracca-Testoni Ragazzi
Visioni di futuro, visioni di teatro… is the international festival of theatre and culture for early years organized by Bologna based La Baracca-Testoni Ragazzi.
The 2021 edition takes place from May 7 to 12 and is part of the activities of the project “Mapping, a map on the aesthetics of performing arts”, funded by the Creative Europe programme, of which La Baracca is lead partner.
Due to the condition imposed by the pandemic, for the first time Visioni experiments a mixed mode proposing both live and online events on the new bi-lingual platform visionifestival.it.
The Festival, which is supported also by Emilia-Romagna Region, features fourteen shows by twelve Italian and foreign Companies (almost all available on demand until June 12), besides training activities, laboratories, conferences, and much more.
The programme pays special attention to dance with four of the works from abroad in Italian premiere: Natanam by DA.TE Danza (Spain), Boks by Theater De Spiegel (Belgium), Schön Anders by Ceren Oran (Turkey/Germany), Cyclo by Compañía Aranwa (Chile).
Further international guests are Théâtre de la Guimbarde (Belgium) with Tiébelé, and Toihaus Theater (Austria), with Ton in Ton, two shows which explore the relation between performance and live music.
These two works are co-productions born in the frame of the European project “Mapping”, just like La Baracca-Testoni Ragazzi's new production – Frames. Memories in Three Acts by Andrea Buzzetti.
The Italian companies are: Compagnia ABC, Compagnia TPO, Sosta Palmizi, Compagnia Il Melarancio, Pandemonium Teatro.
