Theatre, music, dance, and circus from Emilia-Romagna to the world
"Boarding Pass Plus" is a project by the Italian Ministry of Culture for the internationalization of the performing arts activities.
The 2021/2022 edition was dedicated to the restart of planning and the renewal of international relations interrupted by the health emergency. Among the total 21 projects approved and funded by the Ministry, six were proposed by artistic production organizations based in Emilia-Romagna.
«The third edition of this project – by which the Ministry confirms its willing to support the artistic production through specialized training and the consolidation of national and international networks – has given an excellent result for Emilia-Romagna» the Regional Minister of Culture Mauro Felicori points out with satisfaction. «A result which is partly due also to the new role the Emilia-Romagna regional govern gave to ATER Fondazione for the five years 2020-2025: thanks to the new assignment in the field of international promotion and to its new sector “International projects” specifically set up, ATER Fondazione is developing numerous actions».
The awarded by the Boarding Pass Plus call are:
- Panicarte Association-Instabili Vaganti theatre company, based in Bologna (multidisciplinary project – prevalence theatre, the only winner in this section)
- KLM Association - Kinkaleri, Le Supplici, MK, joining several organizations based in Bologna and Modena (multidisciplinary project – prevalence dance)
- Teatro Necessario theatre company, based in Colorno, in the province of Parma (circus)
- Emilia Romagna Concerti, based in Ravenna (multidisciplinary activities – prevalence music)
- Città di Ebla, based in Forlì (multidisciplinary project – prevalence dance)
- Festival Tutti Matti per Colorno Association, based in Colorno, in the province of Parma (circus).
