These words bode well in this moment of gradual recovery after the long months of emergency. But beware: the author also says that the word “joy” scares him.
Pippo Delbono celebrates the feeling of joy in all its fragility and evanescence: cascades of flowers, dazzling images, magical costumes, music, and dance compose a performance full of poetry but also of rage and humour.
Joy – an international coproduction by Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione with Théâtre de Liège (Belgium) and Le Manège Maubeuge (France) – is on stage in Saint-Étienne at La Comédie on July 6 and 7, at 08:00 pm.
