From March 19, three opportunities to meet online: Festival Verdi Home Streaming, Festival Verdi Immersive 360°, and Il Regio a casa tua

“To share values and feelings we hope could win over anything, of which Giuseppe Verdi was a great inspirer and witness: love, solidarity, passion, determination”.

It is in this spirit that the Teatro Regio di Parma presents three online projects dedicated to opera lovers from all over the world as an opportunity to meet with Verdi Festival best opera production.

Festival Verdi Home Streaming, in collaboration with Unitel and Dynamic, offers some of the most successful works presented by the Teatro Regio di Parma for the Festival Verdi: La Traviata, Nabucco, Falstaff, Aida, La Forza del Destino, Il Corsaro, Stiffelio, Don Carlo, besides Ernani, Rigoletto, and Macbeth, three among the titles of the next awaited Festival Verdi 2020.
Eleven full HD productions, among the most beloved produced and performed in the last fifteen seasons of the Festival Verdi, in the original version, with Italian subtitles.
From March 20th, every two days, until April 3rd.

Festival Verdi Immersive 360° offers the audience the emotion of feeling right at the centre of the stage thanks to the audio-video panoramic recording technique used by the University of Parma. The most famous arias of Verdi’s operas like you have never seen before: just change your point of view moving the mouse and you will find yourself projected onto the stage together with the artists, also being able to admire the conductor frontally while conducting the orchestra and the cast.

Il Regio a Casa tua is a multimedia library of contents that will remain available to the public from now on. Among those already published: Tradition and Innovation, a documentary on Festival Verdi created by Reggio Parma Festival, Fiabe a sorpresa, interpreted by actresses accompanied by a musician, in an audio version for the little ones. Much more contents will be added in the following days.

The projects are shared with the platforms of the Municipality of Parma Culture Dept, of the Emilia-Romagna Region Culture Dept, and with the Italian Cultural Institutes abroad.
