#laculturanonsiferma. And with Aterballetto #wedanceathome
The dancers of Aterballetto invite us into their homes during this quarantine period.
Even if locked in, their creativity doesn’t stop. Indeed, the 16 performers of the Company keep on getting fit and give the audience a few minutes of their dance.
With the video #wedanceathome, the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto not only wants to inform that the dancers are well, but also wants to encourage dancers from other countries in quarantine not to lose heart and dance in their homes.
The video so becomes an opportunity to create a network between different companies. In the Facebook and instagram post where it is published, some companies will be tagged - the Basel Ballet directed by Richard Wherlock, the MiR Dance Company Gelsenkirchen directed by Giuseppe Spota, choreographer of Aterballetto’s Tempesta, the Gärtnerplatz-Theater company directed by Karl Alfred Schreiner, the Nuovo Balletto di Toscana directed by Cristina Bozzolini, Aterballetto’s former director -, asking them how they are.
These companies will respond in turn with a video made by their dancers, greeting us and tagging other companies they have relationships with, and so on.
A small way to try not to stop, stimulate creativity, entertain the audience and create stronger relationships.
A special version of the video has been done for the campaign of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation #WeAreItaly #StayTunedOnIt.
