Croatia – “Hrana na crtežima Federica Fellinija”
The National Museum of Zadar pays homage to Federico Fellini on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth with the exhibition Hrana na crtežima Federica Fellinija (Food in Federico Fellini’s Drawings), running from September 29 to October 31.
The exhibit produced by Emilia-Romagna Region is among the initiatives promoted by the Italian National Committee for the Celebration and has already been set in many international venues and events. Now it arrives in the Narodni muzej Zadar - Kneževa palača (Rector's Palace) thanks to the co-operation by the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb.
Composed of 19 drawings made by the Maestro in different moments of his career – both splattered at the table, on paper and cloth napkins, and coming from his Libro dei sogni (Book of Dreams), the dreamlike journal kept for about thirty years – the exhibition reflects his extraordinary world and certain elements at the root of all his work: food, just like childhood and dreaming.
The exhibition has been opened during a special "Fellini Night", an event also including the screening of the film Amarcord..
