Argentina – Motus at FIBA festival

On stage with the performance “MDLSX” and presentation of the book “Hello Stranger”. In Buenos Aires, from January 24th to 27th

The FIBA international festival of Buenos Aires, at the 13th edition, intends “to generate an energy” able to involve both the artists who create and the audience who watch their creations and to converse with the daily universe of both.
From January 23rd to February 1st, music, theatre, dance, visual arts, cinema, workshops, meetings with the artists animate theatres, show rooms and open spaces of one of the ‘world capitals of theatre’.

Motus theatre company presents a performance of ‘explosive’ energy: MDLSX, a show that tends towards the spilling out of all categories, even artistic ones, in a trip/theatrical experiment exploring borders and limits.

Produced in 2015 and presented in many, many Countries around the world, MDLSX is performed by Silvia Calderoni, awarded with an Ubu prize as best actress under 30, alone on the stage with her androgynous physique, unique character in a kaleidoscope of word, sounds, movements, imagines, and music (a lot and beautiful music, curated by Enrico Casagrande).

MDLSX is staged at San Martín Theatre on January 24th and 25th. After the show on 24th, the company meets the audience.

On January 27th, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires, the company presents HELLO STRANGER, a book published by Damiani Editore in Bologna in 2017 on the occasion of the homonymous special project promoted by Comune di Bologna and Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione with the contribution of Emilia Romagna Region Culture Dept.
Opened by an introduction by Wlodek Goldkorn, it is an “atlas of images” of Motus’s work.
