Spain – Fruit Exhibition opens the ‘VLC Barris en Moviment’ Festival
Fruit Exhibition, fair in Bologna dedicated to independent art publishing, has been invited to open the first edition of VLC Barris en Moviment (September 25-29, 2019), a new project on urban art promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute in Barcelona and Empresa Municipal de Transportes of Valencia.
Fruit Exhibition is a project by the cultural association based in Bologna CRUDO. It held its 7th edition last February, confirming the prestige it enjoys worldwide and bringing together more than 100 Italian and European exhibitors, as well as others from Taiwan, Mongolia, Japan and the United States.
Fruit Exhibition was born as an event dedicated to the best productions of art, illustration and graphic design, but also comics, collage, and a series of interdisciplinary hybrids.
An event coinciding with the objective of the VLC Festival, that is to promote the different aspects of urban and independent culture, to stimulate the analysis and awareness of the profession of "creative", promoting employment and encouraging freedom of expression through new business and commercial projects related to the world of art in all its forms, encouraging the idea of encroachment and contamination between languages and helping to make culture a shared project, with particular attention to environmental and social issues of the territory.
In Valencia, Fruit presents independent print and digital productions including catalogues, artist's books, periodicals and zines.
A Dj Set will accompany the opening night of the Festival, along with a break dance show.
VLC Barris en Moviment
