Aterballetto on tour in Israel
After many years, Aterballetto returns to Israel: from January 1st to 3rd the company is in Tel Aviv at the Israeli Opera, on January 4th in Haifa at the Auditorium, and finally in Jerusalem at the Sherover Theatre on January 5th.
The dance company performs an attractive triple bill: Wolf, wild and energetic creation by Hofesh Shechter, the touching and elusive 14'20" by Jirí Kylián, the thrilling Antitesi by Andonis Foniadakis.
The works by these great contemporary choreographers reflect upon the perception of dream (Shechter), time and speed (Kylián, Foniadakis), love (Kylián), juxtapposition (Foniadakis).
Aterballetto is also involved in a workshop. Dancer Grace Lyell holds it in Haifa, where the Italian Cultural Institute has also organized a meeting with its students, before the show on January 4th. The Institute in Haifa and the one in Tel Aviv support Ateballetto’s tour in Israel.
