Little Choir of Antoniano Bologna in China for the fourth year

Eight concerts in Shanghai and Nanjing from December 30th to January 5th

Piccolo Coro “Mariele Ventre” is one of the most famous children’s choirs worldwide, besides being the most renowned and symbolic institution of Antoniano di Bologna.

It was founded in 1963 by Mariele Ventre and celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2013: fifty years of great experiences, with the 61 editions of Zecchino d’Oro music contest and events with some of the most outstanding protagonists of the international music scene, such as Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Richard Attemborough, Peter Ustinov and Italian bands and artists like Stadio, Irene Grandi, Nomadi and Zucchero.

Since 2002, the Choir is UNICEF goodwill ambassador and since 2008 speaker of the recognition by UNESCO of Zecchino d’Oro as heritage for a Culture of Peace.

Now the children of Piccolo Coro and their Choir Master Sabrina Simoni arrive in China for the fourth time, engaged in a tour of eight concerts.

The programme of the concerts includes famous songs from yesterday and today Zecchino d’Oro music contest and some Chinese songs as Mo Li Hua and Chong Er Feii.
