Peru - "8½ de Federico Fellini en las fotos inéditas de Paul Ronald"

From October 1 to 14, in Lima, the exhibit in the Centro Cultural PUCP’s celebration of the director’s birth

The Centro Cultural PUCP - Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú of Lima celebrates the centenary of Federico Fellini’s birth with academic and cultural activities presented with the Fundación BBVA de Perú and organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima, the Filmoteca PUCP, the Region Emilia-Romagna and the Centro Cinema Città di Cesena.

The exhibition8½” de Federico Fellini en las fotos inéditas de Paul Ronald, curated by Antonio Maraldi and promoted by Emilia-Romagna Region and Centro Cinema Cesena within the official calendar of the Italian Committee for the Celebrations, is displayed in the version of thirty photographs divided in five sections dedicated to Fellini, Mastroianni, the set, Federico & Marcello, the actresses, the crew.

To explore the cinema by Fellini, the film series Fellini, 100 años and the masterclass with the same title are proposed, both organized in co-operation with Filmoteca PUCP and Italian Cultural Institute.

The Voice of the Moon, Juliet of the Spirits, 8 ½, La Dolce Vita, I vitelloni are scheduled, while the masterclass Fellini, 100 años, curated by film critic and scholar Ricardo Bedoya, investigates the interpretative keys of his cinema, the impact and the influence his work had and has in contemporary cinematography, why his movies still fascinate the worldwide audience.

Fellini 100 años: conversando sobre su obra is a ‘literary café’ in the company of experts - Alberto Isola (actor and theatre director), Giovanna Pollarolo (literary scholar, writer, professor of the PUCP), Lizza Haworth (psychoanalyst), Natalia Ames (communicator, specialized in cultural management), and Carlos Chávez (historian and scholar, current general coordinator of Filmoteca PUCP), who will moderate the meeting.
