From November 27 to December 10, the company is in residency at the Slovensko Mladinsko Gledališče in Ljubljana with dramaturgs Urška Brodar and Florian Hirsch and the Slovenian cult band Laibach, to work on the new international, multilingual production Saint Joan of the Stockyards, from Bertolt Brecht's great theatrical classic.
The show will debut on April 18-21, 2024 at the Teatro Arena del Sole in Bologna as part of ERT's programming and will be hosted in Ravenna in a unique and unmissable occasion on April 24 at the Teatro Alighieri in collaboration with Ravenna Teatro, as an extraordinary prologue to POLIS Teatro Festival 2024.
ErosAntEros, with the creative contribution of the band Laibach who will inhabit the stage performing live original music, rereads Brecht's text recognizing the actuality of its themes but also proposing an overcoming of them. And it does so with an international cast, since "in the era of globalization only by joining forces can we accomplish the revolution that alone can allow future generations to continue living on this planet."
