L'Italia di Fellini, paesaggi, forme di vita, Marsilio, Venice (2021)
From the genius of Federico Fellini, the invention of Italy in the twentieth century. One hundred years after his birth and almost thirty after his death, Marco Bertozzi's book illuminates the director's inexhaustible ability to narrate his characters, raising aspects of the deep unconscious. An aesthetic shock that trained us on the complexity of the country, its mixture, its magical impurity. Alien from nationalistic stereotypes or immovable categories of Italianity, Fellini crosses universes of cultural proximity and intimacy by immersing himself in unprotected knowledge, in curious questioning, in the encounter of multiple anthropological landscapes. And, without binding ideological presuppositions, he carves one of the most acute portraits of contemporary Italy.

Fellini premières fois (2020)
1957: Claude Jutra and Michel Brault interview Federico Fellini in New York. It is around this singular interview that “Fellini first times” is built. Québec filmmakers from several generations recount their first encounter with Fellini's films. The documentary celebrates this great artist and highlights his extraordinary creative freedom: for all these directors, this is the most important legacy of the master.
