Poland – La Baracca theatre company at the “Take Part In Art” Festival
The International Theatre Festival for Early Years "TAKE PART IN ART” is the first large event in Poland promoting the concept of “initiation theatre“ -a theatre for children from the first year of life.
The aim of the festival, which is organized by Teatr Małego Widza and co-financed by the City of Warsaw, has always been not only to present the best performance practices, but also to be a place of discussion about a small child as a spectator and a fully entitled participant of culture and art.
The third edition of TAKE PART IN ART presents 62 performances by companies from many European Countries -Italy, France, Slovenia, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium, and proposes laboratories and workshops for educationalists, teachers, parents.
La Baracca -Teatro Testoni Ragazzi -working in the field of theatre for children and early years for more than 40 years- could not miss this appointment, and is on stage with Girotondo, scheduled in six performances from the 9th to the 11th of November.
Girotondo is a show for children aged 1-4, made of circular motions, constantly changing, with music and magical, playful images, in which two curious travellers “go around” and discover different worlds.
