Paola and I have been living at the Ariette since 1989.
Ariette is a  three-hectare farm on the hills of Castello di Serravalle, a small town near Bologna.
I always says that our second life has begun since then: 1989. In that life, things started appearing more and more different than before.

For example, we had been together for a long time and we did not know what to give each other for birthday. It seemed to have non sense to give things so we started to present letters…

5 spotlights,  2 light garlands, fruit and vegetable boxes, 1 fridge, the Lambrusco, the birthday cake with candles, the sawdust on the floor, our geese. A little bit like home, a little bit like a circus.

A show made of nothing, made of written words in the secret letters for our land birthdays.
A plain theatre, enlightened by a 21-year experience of life at the Ariette.
