Poland – “From Monteverdi to Mina” together with Soqquadro Italiano

On May 21, the ensamble performs at the Music Festival in Lancut

Claudio Borgianni and Vincenzo Capezzuto think that Monteverdi and Mina have many points in common that bind them inextricably. Amongst them, and above all, their being revolutionary in spite of criticism and their being symbols of a new kind of show.

From Monteverdi to Mina is a path in the Italian music repertoire, from the dawn of the seventeenth century up to the 60’s song.
Conceived and directed by Claudio Borgianni, it is a concert of a great visionary dimension, full of contamination, in which Vincenzo Capezzuto’s unique voice becomes the common thread.

It is a very special look that tries to track down those points of continuity binding our contemporary music to the far and near-legendary world of Baroque.

On May 21st, Soqquadro Italiano performs this musical show within the 58th edition of the „Muzyczny Festiwal w Łańcucie” (Music Festival in Lancut).
