South Korea – La Baracca Testoni-Ragazzi on tour

From 20th to 24th July the awarded show “Upside down” is staged in Seul and Ansan within the ASSITEJ Summer Festival

ASSITEJ is the international association which promotes the quality and the cultural significance of theatre for children and young people and which gathers artists, companies and cultural organizations from more than 80 countries all over the world.

La Baracca, which have been producing works addressed exclusively to children and young people for more than 40 years, is part of this network and will be guest of the 26th ASSITEJ Korea International Summer Festival.

On stage in Seul (July 20-22)  and in Ansan (July 23-24), the show for children aged 1 to 4 "Upside Down”.

The story told without words by two expressive actors is about two people who live in separate spaces and see the world from different points of view until a common purpose -to look for a missing cat- leads them to meet and share.

The show «expresses strong emotions with very simple means» -as stated by the Jury Prize at the 2017 edition of the "100, 1,000, 1,000,000 Stories" festival in Bucharest- and has been successfully staged also in France, Slovenia, Belgium, Finland, Switzerland, Ireland, China.

In August, the tour of the show will go on in Kochi and in Niihama, for the first time staged in Japan.
