200 performances for the show "Moun" by Teatro Gioco Vita

The target was achieved in France, in Mercurey, on March 11th, within the festival “Le Rendez-vous des Piccolis”

The show MOUN - carried off by the foam and the waves by Teatro Gioco Vita has achieved the number of 200 performances.

The story deals with strong themes as abandonment, adoption, homesickness and self-discovery, but transmits a great sense of serenity.

The show is based on Moun by Rascal and is addressed to children from 5 to 10 years old.
On the stage, actress Deniz Azhar Azari, while direction and set design are by Fabrizio Montecchi, and the shadow puppets by Nicoletta Garioni (from illustrations by Sophie).

It debuted in Piacenza in April 2016 and since then has been in tour in Italy and abroad, both in the Italian version and in the French version, first presented at the Au bonheur des mômes Festival in Le Grand-Bornand.

Moun is very beloved in France, so much that the transalpine performances are more than the ones in Italy.

In 2018, from July 11th to 28th, the show was scheduled in the section “Théâtrénfant et tout public” of the Festival d’Avignon -one of the biggest international event dedicated to contemporary theatre-, marking Teatro Gioco Vita’s first attendance at the prestigious French Festival.

Later, the show was in Paris, at La Villette, and during the theatre season 2018-2019 the tour of the show has been mainly in France.

And just in France, on March 11, the 200th performance took place in Mercurey, where the show was guest of the Espace des Arts - Scène nationale Chalon-sur-Saône within the 10th edition of Le Rendez-vous des Piccolis, an important multi-disciplinary festival dedicated to the very young.

In April, the French tour of Moun goes on in Doué-en-Anjou, Champigny-sur-Marne, and Saint-Denis.
