Israel – “I vitelloni” by Federico Fellini
Cinema Italia - Italian Film Festival in Israel this year reaches its audience directly at home.
Thanks to the co-operation by the Italian Cultural Institutes in Tel Aviv and in Haifa, Adamas Italia Israele, Cinecittà Filmitalia, and the cinematheques of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Herzliya, Sderot, Maalot and Rosh Pina, four films of the Italian classic and contemporary cinematography – as long tradition of the Festival programming – are free available via online streaming.
On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Fellini, the classic section has already programmed Luci del varietà, Federico Fellini's first feature film, co-directed with Alberto Lattuada in 1950, and La strada, winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1957.
Now it’s the turn of I vitelloni, Silver Lion awarded at the Venice Film Festival in 1953
